Vin Diesel mimt den CIA-Agenten Milo Burik, der die katalanische Mafia infiltrieren muss. Damit ihm das gelingt, muss sich Milo einen Namen als Fluchtfahrer („Wheelman“) machen. Mit deiner Hilfe setzt sich Milo in dramatischen Verfolgungsjagden und actiongeladenen Missionen zu Fuß gegen seine Kontrahenten durch und beweist sich so als der beste Fluchtfahrer der Stadt.
