Public Service Delivery: Role of Union Digital Centre

More than 4545 digital centre has been set up in the union level (lowest tier of locsl government ) to provide all sorts of government /public services to the rural people who are deprived of getting such services due to costs,time and corruption . Pesent government took the initiative since 2009 with the help of UNDP. Now Bangladesh government is running this project named 'A2I' under prime minister's office. For the purpose of providing public services,government has already initiated ICT in all level of government offices. All ministries are now under the coverage of ICT. All forms government services are providing through ICT. So in this regard UDC is playing vital role of desseminiting public services to the local level people in Bangladesh.
